Eric meets strange birds wherever he goes. On Cyprus there is
a famous Pelican which lives beside the harbour in the town of
Paphos.
Unfortunately shortly after this picture was taken Eric narrowly
escaped becoming a pelican's breakfast.
A penguin sized drink
Sometimes Eric forgets that he is only little. That bottle looks
far to big for one Penguin to drink all by himself.
Break Time !!!!
Eric decided that he didn't like ordinary drinks, but unfortunately
freshly squeezed fish juice was not on the menu. Instead Eric
settled for a nice refreshing glass of orange juice before heading
out to explore.
The house of Dionysus
Eric visited one of the most famous sights in Cyprus. These are
the remains of the houses of Roman people who came to the Island.
The Romans were just one of the many ancient cultures who
left their mark on Cyprus.
The floor in the house shown above is made up of thousands
of little square tiles arranged to make patterns and pictures.
This type of floor is known as a Mosaic.
